OE Mercedes OM617 Naturally Aspirated-Diesel 5-Cylinder 3.0L Engine. Excellent runner with 400 compression on all 5 cylinders.
This was pulled from a 1979 300TD W123 Wagon but can also be installed in a 300D sedan.
To install in a sedan, we will bolt a plate onto the head where the hydraulic suspension pump would normally be. To install in a wagon, we will leave the SLS pump on the head.
This is the older style with larger glow plugs. 1980 models will need some glow plug wiring modification.
